Executive Committee
What we do.
1. Association Life
Regular trainings for members
Every two weeks on Thursday · from 6 pm
Build your MUN skills step by step – rules of procedure, research and writing resolutions – and put them into practice in our mock debates. Introduction sessions: just come along. For mock debates, please register beforehand (link via WhatsApp). Dates: see the schedule.
Weekly get-together
Every Wednesday · 7 pm · Café Extrablatt Bonn
The heart of our community: chat, swap ideas and meet new people, right after our Lecture Series. No registration needed – just drop by.
Socials and trips
Barbecues and get-togethers, plus excursions to the UN Campus in Bonn and other international institutions about every three months.
2. Sending Delegations
We travel together as a BIMUN/SINUB delegation to MUN conferences abroad – debating with students from all over Europe and coming back with new friends and lots of experience.
Next up: KULMUN in Leuven, 02.-06.03.2027
Our partner conference in Belgium – everyone is welcome to join.
Want to come along? Join our WhatsApp group or text us at getinvolved@bimun.org.
3. Organizing our own MUN
Every year we organise the international BIMUN/SINUB conference in Bonn – run entirely by volunteers, with delegates from all over the world, a multilingual committee (EN · DE · FR · ES) with simultaneous interpretation, and a Green Conference since 2009.
4. Lecture Series
Every Wednesday · 6 pm · in person or online
Expert talks with our cooperation partners. Theme 2026/27: The New Global Order – International Relations in a Multipolar World. Details: see the schedule.
Further info: our Lecture Series and volunteering with us can count towards the University of Bonn’s Certificate of Intercultural Competence – proof via lectures@bimun.org.
