Association Life

Being part of BIMUN/SINUB is much more than one conference a year. Throughout the year we train together, meet every week, celebrate, travel – and send delegations to MUN conferences abroad

Open to everyone

Members and everyone interested are welcome. Members get priority when spots are limited.

1. Association Life

Regular training for members

Every two weeks we meet to sharpen the skills that make a good delegate. Step by step you learn the rules of procedure, how to research your country’s position and how to draft resolutions. In our mock debates you put it all into practice: public speaking, negotiating, building coalitions and finding compromises. Whether you are new to MUN or already experienced, you grow your confidence in a relaxed setting with friendly feedback – and are well prepared for your next conference.

Thursdays · from 6 pm

Introduction sessions: just come along. Mock debates and Mock MUNs: please register via the link in the schedule (links will be posted via WhatsApp).

Weekly get-together

Every Wednesday · 7 pm · Café Extrablatt Bonn

Every Wednesday we meet at Café Extrablatt, right after our Lecture Series. It is the heart of our community: talk about the last debate, swap ideas, plan the next trip or simply get to know each other. No registration needed – newcomers are always welcome, and it is the easiest way to meet us.

Socials and trips

MUN is about people as much as politics. Our socials and trips bring us together outside the committee room – this is where friendships form and new members quickly become part of the team.

· Socials – for example barbecues and get-togethers in summer

· Trips – excursions to the UN Campus in Bonn and other international institutions, about every three months Dates and sign-up are announced in advance.

2. Sending Delegations

There is nothing like a real conference. As a BIMUN/SINUB delegation we travel together to MUNs abroad, debate with students from all over Europe, get to know new committee formats – and come back with new friends and lots of experience. Joining a delegation is completely optional, and we sort out the details together: registration, travel and preparation. As a member, you also get discounts at other conferences.

Where we go:

KULMUN in Leuven, 02.-06.03.2027

Our partner conference in Leuven, Belgium. Everyone is welcome to join the delegation.

Other conferences

We are always happy to go to other MUNs too. Found a conference you would like to attend? Let us know!
