The United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification is the only legally binding international agreement combining environment and development in order to achieve sustainability. Established in 1994 the UNCCD as of 2018 aims to restore vast expanses of degraded land, potentially improving the livelihoods of around 1.3 billion people.

The United Nations Commission on the Status of Women is the foremost international body tasked solely with promoting gender equality and the empowerment of women. It was founded in 1946 and is a functional commission of ECOSOC.

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization is a political and military alliance established in 1949, it aims to guarantee the freedom and security of it’s members by military as well as political means. As of now it has 30 members, all located in Europe or North America.

This committee is a crisis-committee, compelling the delegates to take swift and decisive action under a state of emergency. Two cabinets will have to work together or against each other while finding themselves thrown into the volatile political landscape of the 19th century!
