It is the main goal of BIMUN/SINUB e.V. to offer international students the opportunity to take part in a Model-UN conference. In addition, we particularly invite young people from developing countries to take part in our conference. Thus, the participation fees are staggered from approximately 120-195 Euros, according to the delegate’s place of study. The Human Development Index (HDI) serves as an indicator for individual fees required to attend the 2010 BIMUN/SINUB Conference.  Furthermore BIMUN/SINUB e.V. offers selected participants the possibility to apply for travel grants.

The participation fee includes accommodation, catering (breakfast and lunch) and transportation from the hostel to the conference venue. We offer the free use of public transport in Bonn during the conference.  Participants who do not need accommodation will have to pay 30 Euros less (this is equivalent to the percentage of the participant’s fee for accommodation, the rest is covered by sponsors).

Travel Grants

In general, participants have to pay for the journey to Bonn and back home by themselves. However, there is a limited amount of travel grants available for selected participants. Please include in your application an explanation why you might be eligible for additional funding.

Important: To law students from Eastern Europe

The IRZ (Deutsche Stiftung für Internationale Rechtliche Zusammenarbeit e.V.) supports law students from Eastern Europe (click here to see a full list of countries) with travel grants for participation in the 2010 BIMUN/SINUB Conference. If you are eligible and you would like to apply for this travel grant please indicate so in the “other comments/questions” field of the application form and we will hand over your curriculum vitae and letter of motivation to the IRZ.

If you apply for a travel grant, your data will be passed on to the appropriate foundation or institution. BIMUN/SINUB e.V. cannot be held responsible for any costs related to the transfer of your participation fee. If you withdraw your participation up to 14 days prior to the start of the conference, BIMUN/SINUB e.V. will offer a full refund (excluding bank fees) of the participation fee. Less than 14 days prior to the start of the conference a 50% refund (excluding bank fees) is offered. No refund is available for withdrawals occuring  less than 7 days before the start of the conference. By sending your registration form, you agree to fully accept our conditions.
