What is the European Model United Nations Network (EMUNNET)?

The European Model United Nations Network constitutes a network of European MUN organizations, sharing the goal of promoting cooperation and communication between all members, in order to improve the work of each organization. BIMUN/SINUB e.V. belongs to the six founding members of the EMUNNET, which has been established in 2008. Moreover, BIMUN/SINUB e.V. is especially happy to welcome the youngest members of the EMUNNET family: The Bucharest International Student United Nations.

What is the goal of the EMUNNET?

The main goal of the EMUNNET is to promote the Model United Nations concept. Furthermore EMUNNET fosters intercultural understanding and an active and effective learning process of the youth in the field of international politics, negotiations and diplomacy. In order to reach this goal, EMUNNET

• facilitates the cooperation between MUNs,
• supports the process of establishing and organizing new MUNs,
• maintains a website which serves as a source of information concerning various MUNs,
• lobbies for the MUN-idea within political institutions and the civil society
